Student review : Arguably, it is one of the best engineering college of the country and at par with most of the IITs. According to me, life in this college is probably most amazing. One avenue in which the college lacks is the dedication of the faculty members. However, all that is foreshadowed by placement prospects and brand value of the institution.

The library of Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology and Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology caters adequately to the needs of B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA students. It is sufficently equipped to fulfill the requirements of its faculty and staff members.
Code of Conduct for Students : No student shall indulge in any form of ragging of the fresher students, causing mental or physical agony or inflict monetary loss to them, harass them or indulge in any kind of obscenity, vulgarity or violence with them. Students found involved in any form of ragging are liable to severe disciplinary action, and shall be punishable under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code 1860. Hostel inmates who are out of the campus shall report to college main gates by 6.30 PM and are permitted to remain in the college park up-to 8.30 PM only. The Director reserves the right to permit or deny the admission in hostel to the students. The students can be asked to vacate the room at any time under unavoidable circumstances without giving any reason.

On-campus hostel for boys & girls: Galgotias has separate hostel facility for girls and boys. The campus hostels are surrounded by lush green lawns and playing fields. The hostels have complete power backup. Facilities for indoor games like TT, carom, chess etc. are also available. A warden/hostel in-charge looks after the administration of the hostel. Students enjoy a homely and comfortable stay with a sense of camaraderie and fraternity. Hygienic, quality food prepared by professionally-qualified cooks is provided to the students in the hostel canteen. Meals provided in the hostel mess are wholesome and nourishing. The mess caters to the tastes of the students with varied culinary preferences from different regions. The mess menu is planned and managed by the students in consultation with the caterer and the management.
