Parenting tips from Marissa Anastasi

Motherhood stories from Marissa Anastasi: If you’re actively co-parenting with your kids’ Father, whether you’re still in a relationship or not, put each other first before the kids, because in doing so, by default the kids come first cause you’re all looking after each other. Care more about their heart than their outward actions, and prioritize your marriage. If it works for you then it’s not a bad habit. When it’s not working, change it. Find what works for your family and stick with that!

There’s no shortage of advice available to new moms. Between best-selling parenting books, well-meaning family and friends, and even strangers on the street, there’s plenty of advice to consider. Just sifting through the sheer amount of information that comes your way can be a daunting task—how do you know whose advice to take and whose to (respectfully) disregard? Because we’re of the mindset that honest parenting advice from real moms is one of the best resources out there, we asked the smart, insightful mothers and experts in the area of parenting to share their words of wisdom. Their comments had us nodding in agreement, laughing out loud, and looking for a pen and paper to jot down notes.

Know the lingo. Do you know what metal core is? How about emo? Have you ever seen a poser? Do you know what a mosh pit is and have you ever seen anyone two step? (not the country two step). If not, then you need to brush up on your teen lingo. You can’t communicate with them if you don’t know the language. Again, it is difficult to communicate and connect with you child if you have such a disconnect that you don’t understand their world. Listen to their music, know the artists AND the genres. Who knows, you may even find some music that you actually like. What’s more, you can talk to your child on their level about their world. See a few more details at Motherhood blog.

Having the privilege to nourish, nurture, teach and watch your child grow. It’s a surreal, rewarding, challenging experience that I love. It has given me a deeper appreciation for my own Mom and given me new confidence and purpose. I love surprise cuddles, the presentation of flowers picked on a walk and given with wide eyes and a beaming smile. When he masters a new skill and the pride and excitement of that. When you suddenly realize that you have become something of a cross between a superhero, warrior, full of love woman and you cannot possibly imagine any other experience transforming you in the way that being a Mom has done.

My blog is really about my passions in life and my struggles and it’s probably the same for many people. I feel like I could share a lot of experiences, good and bad and blogging also gives me a platform to share moments in our ever-changing life from babies, young kids to teenagers. There’s a mixture of topics, not just motherhood but lifestyle, house design, fashion, travel. I’m passionate about supporting small businesses, especially local ones and those that are run by mums like myself, as I know first-hand how difficult this is and how much the small shops need local support to survive. Online dating tips

Dating online guides: There’s no rush to meet potential partners instantly. Building trust and a rapport with someone takes time, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking it slow. Exchange a good amount of messages and really get to know each other online before you meet offline. Salama also emphasizes; ‘Don’t be discouraged. It’s pretty rare to meet the perfect person instantly, and that’s for the best! You can improve your seduction skills and also get to know more about what it is exactly that you want. Maybe something will come to light that you didn’t realize before.’ And maybe you’ll find that trying to force a flower to bloom will kill that flower, so remember, patience pays off in the end.

Three-quarters of the profile should be about me, and the other quarter about what I want in a mate, says Hoffman, who tells me to be specific here, too: The goal isn’t to attract everyone, it’s to find The One. We come up with “My ideal match is someone who loves family, has an opinion on current events, and can hold his own at a cocktail party on a Friday night, then chill with me on a lazy Saturday.” The final touch is a headline that sums up my approach to life, like a personal slogan. Hoffman suggests “Family. Kindness. Friends. Faith. That’s what I value most.” Hmm. I’m spiritual and go to church, but “faith” sounds heavy. I swap it for “fun.”

You learn so much more from a person’s manner and demeanor — whether he makes eye contact, her tone when she speaks, how often she smiles. You also recognize social niceties; that is, what sort of effort he makes to ask you questions, whether she is constantly checking her phone, etc. So much vital information is only disclosed in person. The goal shouldn’t be to find your perfect match but merely to winnow down the possibilities to a reasonable number, and then to meet those people IRL. It can be hard, when you so badly want to find “the one,” but getting to know another person, truly, takes time and patience. What are some other tips you have for evaluating online profiles for compatibility? Let us know in the comments.

Don’t allow an email conversation to drag on for weeks without a date. You may think you’re “connecting”, but you can’t judge chemistry unless you meet up. Six messages in total – not each – is enough to know whether you want a date. You’re meeting a stranger. Chances are that you won’t fancy each other, or that only one of you will fancy the other. So don’t fantasise too much. See more details on online dating right here.

“If you want to be successful at online dating, you can’t wait for the right dates to come to you. Be proactive with [Liking and Noping] often, sending the initial message, and taking charge of your dating destiny. [People] who do are more satisfied with their dating-app experience and feel that they meet more appropriate and satisfying dates.” — Damona Hoffman, certified dating coach and host of “Dates & Mates”.

Free chat now with talk satisfactions

Anonymous chat and chat benefits and do you want a reason to talk to someone you don’t know ? Friends are very important. Friends keep us from being lonely, they encourage us to go after our dreams, they teach us new things, they help us make better choices in life, they help us deal with stress, and provide us with support when we need it. Various studies have even shown that having a lot of strong friendships is good for your physical and mental health. But here is the thing – you are not born together with your friends. If you think about all your close friends today, they were all strangers at one point in life. Therefore, if you want to make more friends, you have to be willing to talk to strangers, who will then hopefully turn into good friends. All the strangers you see around you on a daily basis all present you with an opportunity to make a new friend. That guy you bump into at the gym a couple of times every week could be a potential work out partner. The lady from the office next to yours? Perhaps she loves salsa as much as you do and would love someone to accompany her to dance classes. Unfortunately, you will never know if you don’t talk to them. By keeping your mouth shut, you are robbing yourself of the chance to meet an exciting person and make a new friend. Therefore, next time you bump into that stranger you see almost every day, go to them and strike up a conversation.

Taking the later data into account, many researchers have arrived at a more positive view of the consequences of internet use, arguing that online interaction can supplement rather than supplant face-to-face interaction (DiMaggio et al., 2001, Wellman et al., 2001). Several reasons underlie this argument. First, the internet helps to maintain geographically dispersed networks: it can prevent communities, families, and friends from becoming too fragmented by providing sources of social support regardless of users’ physical location (Howard et al., 2001, Subrahmanyam et al., 2008).

According to research, more than 90% of human communication consists of body language. When you see the way that the person you are talking to reacts, you are able to better understand how they are feeling. One of the benefits of chat communication is the live feedback translated through the body language and facial expressions. Other forms of communication can never provide the advantage. You can also hear the tone of voice which makes it easier to interpret the person’s feelings. On the other hand, you are able to show your own reactions and emotions. For example, as a manager, with chat communication you can show your employees that you care, pushing them to perform better. Read even more details at omegle alternative.

Similarly, when the “Homenet” study in Pittsburgh found that internet newcomers were somewhat more stressed, it was front-page news. The media paid much less attention to the follow-up report that found much of the stress does not continue as people become used to the internet. The assumption underlying fear about what the internet is doing to relationships is that the internet seduces people into spending time online at the expense of time spent with friends and family. As a result, Americans may be sitting at their computer screens at home and not going out to talk to our neighbors across the street or visiting relatives. There are worries that relationships that exist in text – or even screen-to-screen on flickering webcams – are less satisfying than those in which people can really see, hear, smell, and touch each other.

Teens face challenges trying to construct an appropriate and authentic online persona for multiple audiences, including adults and peers. Consequently, many teens feel obligated to project an attractive and popular image through their social media postings. 40% of teen social media users report feeling pressure to post only content that makes them look good to others. 39% of teens on social media say they feel pressure to post content that will be popular and get lots of comments or likes. Album review : Michael Jackson and kids tribute

Songs review : Michael Jackson kids now and his top albums: Hours after TMZ announced Michael Jackson‘s death, something “magical” happened. Everyone decided it was safe to be a fan of the King of Pop again. In a matter of minutes, maybe less, the whole world (more specifically, America) forgot about the corny punch lines they once shared to friends at the water cooler or the countless parodies they had come to enjoy, all of which developed this unfortunate post-2000 personification of an artist that, more or less, had become a modern myth. Up until that point, the name Michael Jackson didn’t necessarily spark memories of, say, Thriller, Bad, or the often forgotten 90’s masterpiece, Dangerous. Instead, trashy tabloids and shitty gags in Scary Movie, South Park, etc. took precedence. It’s a crap deal for someone who’s arguably the most inimitable force in music history, but that’s how things were prior to June 25, 2009. Still, death’s a curious thing.

Whether you believe the allegations or not, it’s clear that he was never the same after Dangerous. The damage became too absolute, the vitriol aimed his way too severe for someone that sensitive. Never again could his music exist on its own merits, the illimitable genius ravaged by prescription pills, insomnia, and obliterating pressure. Dangerous is the last time that Michael Jackson was Michael Jackson. In that same way, it’s difficult to listen to Dangerous without considering the child molestation allegations that greeted him shortly after he came home from its marathon 69-concert tour. It’s tricky not to read too much into a song like “In the Closet.” How do you reconcile that someone as pure of spirit as Jackson could potentially have a monstrous streak?

In 2010 I ended up in the world media after I had made a request to the US court to do a DNA test with the now deceased artist Michael Jackson. The entertainment industry thought it was a strange story, with the result that people on various websites and in newspapers called me wrong. The American tabloid TMZ, like many other foreign tabloids, has tried to catch me for an interview. At that moment I thought they would all label me as some crazy person. It might even cost me my Thuiszorg Ernestine BV company once they had the image material they had intended in their hands. Find more details on http://mpjjacksonrevelation.com/.

People like to say you are mentally ill if they cannot handle the truth about something or someone. In this case that would be the truth about Michael Jackson and me, Mocienne Elizabeth. They worship artists like they are Gods and drop them like hot bricks when they become big stars. The lives of artists have shown that their stardom is an illusion that makes us want to rise above ourselves.

Off the Wall (1979): The debate to definitively name Michael’s greatest album will rage until the end of time and Off the Wall makes a strong, strong case for the crown. Coming off his star-making role in The Wiz, MJ capitalized on that momentum with an album that turned the music industry on its ear. MJ’s brand of pop soul (with a dash of disco) created an ENTIRE ALBUM of timeless tracks – almost 40 years later, they still burst with boundless energy. Off the Wall is the very definition of a classic album – it revolutionized the music industry. But Michael topped it just three years later. Forgotten Favorites: No such thing as a “forgotten favorite” here but go with “Working Day and Night,” “Girlfriend” and “It’s the Falling In Love”.
